"I started with Andrea in early November as I’d been wanting to start strength training and had been viewing Andrea’s content online but just hadn’t plucked up the courage to message and actually do it. I’m an unfit, obese woman of a certain age (40’s) and I was worried that everyone else would be super fit and super skinny and that I wouldn’t be able to keep up.
Andrea put me at ease from the first session and everyone has been so lovely and welcoming. Yes most people in the class are fitter than me because they’ve been going for longer and have built up their strength but I can feel myself getting stronger each session. I won’t lie it’s not easy and I can certainly feel it when I’ve had a session but then it’s not supposed to be easy as we make fitness gains when we push ourselves to do that little bit more than we think we can.
After a couple of weeks I started with sciatica and was worried that I couldn’t continue but Andrea adjusted the exercises I was doing or sometimes gave me completely different exercises to do to ensure I wasn’t hurting myself and also gave me some really good stretches to do at home which really helped. I can highly recommend Andrea and if you’re ‘thinking’ about it and just watching content online like I was for ages, stop thinking and just do it, you won’t regret it 😊" - Nickie
